Established in 1975, Hủ Tiếu Hồng Phát is one of the oldest brands with a distinctive flavour that many Saigon diners. Hu Tieu Hong Phat is considered a symbol of the intersection of Choazhu’s cuisine and Khmer culture, which was imported to Saigon from overseas Vietnamese returning from Cambodia in the 1970s. After 50 years of serving many generations of diners, Hong Phat still captures deep impressions of the taste of a time with Saigon people

At Hong Phat, pho dishes are more diverse with fresh black tiger shrimp, pieces of liver, pieces of heart, pieces of braised blood and a special heirloom broth. Accompanying vegetables include various kinds of fenugreek, celery, bean sprouts, chives, lettuce, pickled garlic, and fried garlic mixed together to create an unforgettable taste for diners over the past 50 years. 3. Hum Garden

Hum Gargen is a vegetarian restaurant with a refined dining style, containing a green space located in the central city in a house in Thao Dien area. If you are a nature lover or simply want to find a place to rest your soul, you should visit Hum once. In Hum, you will find a green, peaceful space with natural wood furniture and green patches of leaves.

Stepping to Hum, you’ll also find a haven of traditional Vietnamese vegetarian dishes as well as modern and Southeast Asian cuisines. It’s absolutely impressive with the layout of traditional Vietnamese dishes, slightly minimalist, light, and frugal. It is a plate of sticky rice with lotus leaf gac, artichoke soup or hot tomato pot that is fancy, cherished to every cup of sauce, and vegetable tray, creating a sense of cleanliness and deliciousness for diners. At Hum, there are also many separate areas for guests to choose from such as the garden, swimming pool, lounge or terrace, suitable for cosy gatherings, or simply treating parents on their special day.

4. Xôi Bát

Xôi Bát is a small restaurant located in a quiet alley on Hoang Hoa Tham Street, Binh Thanh district. Xôi Bát was opened by a young team in 2021 with attention to every detail of space design and customer experience.

The sticky rice dishes in Xôi Bát are very diverse and creative, from taste to decoration. Sticky rice is served in white ceramic bowls neatly arranged on the counter. Customers can choose their own types of sticky rice and add different kinds of fillings to their liking. They have incorporated their relatively soft sticky rice recipe into dishes such as sticky rice with young eggs, which includes quail eggs, pork ears and fried shallots, served with soup and kimchi as a simple, delicious meal.
