Today’s global cocoa price
Today’s global cocoa price recorded a significant increase, reaching 9,230 USD/ton, up 425 USD/ton compared to the previous session’s closing price, equivalent to an increase of 4.83%. The main reason for the increase in cocoa prices is a sharp decline in production in Ivory Coast and Ghana.
According to statistics from the International Cocoa Organization (ICCO), these two countries account for 54% of total global cocoa production. However, difficulties caused by the epidemic in the 2023/2024 crop year have seriously affected harvest yields, creating a supply shortage in the market.

Today’s domestic cocoa price

(Updated: February 2025)

Domestic cocoa prices have seen a significant increase due to increased global consumption demand. In addition, the escalation of crude oil prices has increased the cost of chocolate production, thereby stimulating cocoa consumption demand as an alternative solution. It is expected that this upward trend may continue in the near future because cocoa consumption demand shows no signs of decreasing.
